BS-AFRICA Transparent Small Water Filtes
can filter the water as much as 3 liters/hour. Water containers made of good grade plastic. Container capacity of 10 liters. Filter can purify 7,000 liters of water (350 gallons) before the filter needs to be replaced. To know when you have to change the filter, it can be measured with the simple indicator ring included in the package.
Shinyanga Water quality
In February 2016 BS-AFRICA, started a pilot project in three Districts shinyanga municipal,Kahama and shinyanga to improve the drinking water quality. During the project BS-AFRICA is training (female&male) entrepreneurs and enabling them to sell affordable water filters. Shinyanga water quality will enhance these activities by creating awareness in the three neighbourhoods on drinking water quality and hygiene. The sales of affordable water filters by local self help groups and entrepreneurs will have a positive effect on the health of about 5,000 people during the project. After the project sales will continue, creating sustainable access to water filters and spare parts within the neighbourhoods.
